Break ins

These pictures show the handiwork of a group of mindless youths who have been creating havoc on the park during the last three weeks. Despite being chased off the park by two owners they returned to continue destroying this property. One of the photos shows some excrement smeared on the table. Last week-end they broke into another caravan at the bottom of the park and again were chased off, only to return two days later. Fortunately an owner spotted them and gave chase, they had emptied the property and ran off without the spoils. The police have been telephoned at least 4 times, their advice, the owners of the properties must come here to make a denuncia and we as a community must be responsible for our own security. Will we be held responsible for our actions should we catch these dispicable beings?

Swimming Pool improvement

These pictures of the swimming pool were taken today and as you can see after a week end of doing our own maintenance they look good enough to swim in. I don't think we need worry about future maintenance. Many thanks to Tony Evans.

These pictures were taken yesterday of the childrens pool, no maintenance has been carried out for the last two weeks and the bottom of the pool is filthy. After complaining to the pool contractor he suggested that we do our own maintenance thus saving €500 each month, this we intend to do.

Notes from Open Forum 10/03/2009

There have been more burglaries on the park last week. A committee member telephoned the Guardia only to be told that they couldn't do anything because she wasn't the owner of the property. All owners are being asked to be especially vigilant.

An unsavory looking character has been seen wearing a red helmet riding around on a moped begging for money for charity, this has been upsetting for one owner who found him on her property.

As you can see from the minutes of today's committee meeting it was decided to change Mi-Sol's bank to La Caixa. This bank is located at the roundabout junction between Calle Orihuela and Ronda Sur. My apologies for yet another change but I am sure you will agree it is justified when considering the fact that Banco Popular have been charging us €25 each month for handling the account whereas La Caixa will charge us €20 annually plus €3 for each cheque book, a saving of at least €277. The transfer will be completed next week and details of the new account number etc will be posted in the office and on the bottom of the next quarterly bills.
