Swimming Pool

It is only 7 months since the major work to the pool was finished and it is showing signs of poor workmanship, a strip of tiles has become dislodged on the bottom at the deep end. The contractor was called in to come up with a solution. We don't want to empty the water yet again for this repair bearing in mind the cost last year of refilling the pool. We have a ten year guarantee with the contractors and he suggested bringing in a diver to make good the repair using waterproof cola, the problem with this is when it sets it is a grey colour and our pool grouting is white. He has said that after the season he will come back and rectify the problem. The broken handrail was not covered under the guarantee because a child jumped on it and we have had to get Lucas to repair it. The handrails are not there for the purpose of children using them as a diving board.

There have been a spate of break ins over the last 6 weeks and several gates have been stolen, in one incident the gates were large and had cost the owner a lot of money to have them transported to Mi-Sol from another part of Spain, it is amazing that nobody saw this happening. It was suspected that the culprit was of Bulgarian origin and driving a red car, we managed to get the car number plate and posted it around the park warning owners to be on the look out. This man is now driving a small white car, number A4825DF, he stopped outside my house last week asking for any scrap metal, he had some on the roof of his car. I asked him if he lived on Mi-Sol, he changed his mind several times saying yes then no, I told him about the thefts going on and that information had been passed onto the police. He showed me his ID card saying he wasn't a thief, I offered to take his photo with my mobile and he drove away at great haste.

We had an interested buyer for the vacant plot at the bottom of the park, the buyer was interested in buying the caravan currently sited on the plot. She wanted to have a look inside the caravan so we obliged, when we went into the caravan two guns were found, one was an 8mm handgun that was loaded with a magazine of bullets! Needless to say the Guarda were called and came out immediately advising us not to touch anything, too late I'm afraid because at least 3 of us had handled the guns. The Guarda took the guns away and thankfully not any of us.
